- Hawley St. Fire Contained to Mattress Thursday, November 20, 2008 @ 9:19AMFire forced some Rochester residents from their home Thursday morning. The fire broke out on Hawley Street just before 6 a.m. Firefighters say it began on a mattress in an upstairs bedroom in the back of the house. Crews were able to contain the fire to the mattress.

Investigators say Erin Garwood, 26, was eastbound when she lost control and went into the oncoming lane. She hit a vehicle driven by Ryder Smith, 42, of Marion.
